Welcome to Bellacats

Bellacats is an absolutely wonderful breeder of British Shorthairs. Carol and Dave are a lovely couple who are so committed to the breed. They raise and care for their cats and kittens in their own home and have the highest standards. We purchased two kittens, who are now aged 2 years and 1 year, Bertie and Olive. They are fantastic, very healthy and well adjusted. Having always had British shorthairs due to their lovely temperament and friendly nature we had contacted several breeders after our last cats died of old age. We visited a few as well but you have to get a feeling for the right one. We were struggling but then heard O Bellacats and were immediately impressed. We were encouraged to visit but only when the kittens were at the right age to do so. We could see the kittens with their mummy and ask as many questions as we wanted. Everything was so clean and we could see the lovely homely environment they were in. The cats seemed very happy. Carol ensured that we were very well prepared to take our fur babies home and we were given all the required paperwork and pedigree’s as well as a blanket with mummy’s scent on it, a kitten litter tray, a sample bag of kitten food, insurance etc. We were encouraged to keep in touch and to seek advice when needed. We have nothing but praise for Bellacats and would highly recommend them if you want a really good breeder with high standards and healthy well adjusted kittens.
